We used to holiday here when the kids were kids. Coming back (for a wedding), has anything changed?
Not the two-mile long beach, not the sea-breeze, not the sandhills and the Valley of Diamonds; not the Pitch and Putt; not the essential character, but yes to everything else. The Diamond Coast Hotel has upgraded the tourist image; the caravan parks are much improved and expanded; the Golf Course is famous; the "Wild Atlantic Way" and Staycation Culture have caused a building boom, coffee wagons and cafes have sprung up, insulated swimming gear has taken over from brief togs, surfing has taken off and the coastal walk has been developed.
